Tamara works with adults and teens aged 15+ with a range of presenting challenges and symptoms including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, complex PTSD and dissociative disorders, and relationship struggles. She has more than 15 years of experience in case management in aged care and disability.
Tamara's main focus is to develop a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, using her genuinely warm, friendly and easy-going personality. Tamara is passionate about working with clients with trauma and PTSD, and is trained in EMDR Therapy. Tamara also draws on interventions and techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-based strategies. Her guiding principle is to be curious and dedicate herself to ongoing personal and professional development.
