You can access counselling and psychological services as a private client or with a GP-referred Mental Health Treatment Plan.
Standard Appointment
with Tamara Williams
- 60-minute Standard Consultation
- $194 fee payable on the day
- $87.25 rebate from Medicare with a Mental Health Treatment Plan referral from your GP
- $193.99 for NDIS Clients (self and plan-managed)
- Appointments available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Medicare Rebates
Mental Health Treatment Plans entitle you to Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year (1 January to 31 December).
To arrange a Mental Health Treatment Plan, visit your GP, who will discuss your mental health care options with you and help you determine a support plan. Please bring your GP referral with you to your first session or have them send it to Aspiring Minds by email.
On the day of your session(s), you will be required to pay the full fee, after which your Medicare rebate will be processed and paid into your bank account. Please allow up to 48 hours for the rebate to arrive in your account.
Cancellation Policy
Prior to each appointment, you’ll receive a reminder by SMS and email. You will have the option to either confirm or cancel your appointment without incurring a 50% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 24 hours.
Cancellation fees apply if you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of its scheduled start time.
Please note, cancellation fees are not covered by Medicare.
Fees and Concessions
Fees increase yearly by the Australian CPI percentage. You will be provided with up to two months’ notice of fee increases.
Tamara understands many people have been affected by many recent uncertainties, so please let her know if you feel the fee increase will place too much pressure on your finances.
Concession fees are offered for clients with a health care or concession card. Please advise Tamara of your concession status when booking your appointments.

Tamara is registered with Queensland WorkCover to provide Adjustment to Injury Counselling. Please contact Tamara for further information.
